This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing your use of our platforms and services. We invite you to read this policy carefully to ensure you fully understand your rights and obligations when using SaudiaHost’s services. By using our website and services, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

General Policy
- Content Restrictions: No SaudiaHost Digital products or services may be used in any way that offends Islam, violates Islamic Sharia law, contains immoral content, or breaches local or international laws. In the event of a violation, the First Party (SaudiaHost) reserves the right to immediately suspend the product or service without consulting the Second Party (the Client) and without any compensation. The First Party assumes no responsibility resulting from any misuse or illegal activity.
- Refund Policy: SaudiaHost Digital does not offer refunds for transferred payments, as many third-party add-ons and external services are purchased upfront and these providers do not offer refunds. Exceptions apply only when SaudiaHost explicitly states in writing that a refund is possible, such as the hosting refund guarantee.
- Hosting Refund Guarantee: A refund for hosting (equivalent to the annual renewal value) is offered if you are not completely satisfied within 30 days of booking the hosting and domain. The agreed-upon technical support and hosting period begins on the date the first trial version of the project is delivered.
- Professional Conduct: It is strictly prohibited to communicate inappropriately, insult, or abuse the First Party or any of its team members on public or private online platforms or through any other communication channels. Violating this clause gives the First Party the right to immediately suspend the product and service without compensation, and refer the matter to legal affairs to protect their moral and financial rights. Disputes will be referred to competent authorities, such as the Ministry of Commerce or judicial courts in Riyadh.
- Payments: Clients must only make payments to official SaudiaHost accounts, via a bank check payable to “SaudiaHost Digital IT Establishment,” or in cash at one of our branches in exchange for an official receipt.
- Third-Party Services & Pricing: Prices and the availability of addons, technical support, hosting, or renewals may change at any time. The price is calculated at the time of the request or renewal. The Client is responsible for executing agreements, opening accounts, paying fees, and providing required documents for third-party providers (e.g., shipping companies, payment gateways, banks, Apple/Google App Stores, Google Maps APIs, Sender ID activation) within a maximum of 90 days from the contract start date. Delays may incur extra fees. SaudiaHost pledges to advise and assist with technical requirements to facilitate these processes.
- Third-Party Liability: SaudiaHost is not responsible for any modifications, suspensions, or price changes enacted by third-party service providers, shipping/payment companies, or global operating systems (Apple/Google).
- Copyrights: Clients may not alter or remove SaudiaHost’s design and development copyrights unless specifically agreed upon for an additional fee.
- Content Management: Offers do not include content entry, management, or design unless explicitly agreed upon. Content is managed via the control panel, and SaudiaHost is committed to training clients on its use.
- Platform Features: SaudiaHost commits to delivering all original features of the agreed-upon platform. Any modification or addition to these original features is considered an extra service subject to additional costs. Web and mobile app features may differ based on usability; therefore, specifications are treated separately without matching.
- Source Code: Source code is provided free of charge for OpenCart (web e-commerce) and WordPress (web informational) websites. Clients can request it at any time at no cost. For custom PHP web projects and mobile apps, source code requires an additional, specially agreed-upon fee and is delivered after all project dues are settled. We cannot provide source code for third-party software (e.g., chatbots).
- Design Revisions: One homepage or logo design model is provided during the design phase based on the request, with allowable edits within the scope of the original brief. Additional models or internal page designs incur extra costs and time. Clients have a maximum of one week (or up to two revision rounds within 10 working days) to submit requested edits. Otherwise, SaudiaHost has the right to deem the design accepted or apply additional fees.
- Free Addons: Gifts, addons, or free features in packages (e.g., live chat, SMS, content entry, hosting) cannot be exchanged for monetary or non-monetary value.
- Data Privacy: All personal and financial information is encrypted, strictly confidential, and inaccessible to anyone outside SaudiaHost’s staff or Saudi authorities (unless requested by you). We do not sell your personal information or email addresses. Your data may be used solely to send you our promotional offers, which you can opt out of at any time.
- Abandoned Projects: Bank deposits pending for over 90 days without client follow-up (via phone, in-person visit, email, or ticketing system) are considered void. The client has no right to claim the funds or any associated services.
- Payment Gateways: PayPal payments are subject to provider audits. Credit card data is never stored on SaudiaHost servers. A 6% processing fee applies to Credit Card or PayPal payments.
- Cookies: We use cookies strictly to ensure secure interaction and communication during the login/logout processes of the client’s control panel and associated applications.
Work Duration
- Delays: If either party delays the project workflow, follow-up, or due payments for more than a week beyond the specified timeline, the delaying party shall pay a 5% penalty of the project’s base value (excluding VAT/addons) per week of delay.
- Contract Termination: If the client fails to respond or follow up for 30 days, the contract is automatically terminated. The client is not entitled to a refund, and SaudiaHost assumes no liability for the loss of any or all data.
- Time Exclusions: Time spent on design/programming edits, resolving technical issues, weekends (Friday and Saturday), and official public holidays are not counted within the official project work duration.
- Tech Support Commencement: Support begins upon delivering the trial version. The client has a maximum of 7 working days to submit all design/programming notes, which must be sent collectively in one or two batches maximum.
- Project Kickoff: Work begins on the next business day following the transfer of the down payment, submission of the completed request form, and contract signing/receipt.
- Addons Installation: Free gifts and addons (e.g., live chat, SMS, payment/shipping setups) are configured and installed after the project is completed and uploaded to the client’s domain. The time taken for these setups or app store review processes is not counted as part of the core design/programming duration.
- Project Completion: The work duration is considered finished once the programming/design phases are completed and trial links are delivered. Client approval of the trial link and the request to migrate the project to their official domain constitutes full finalization of the contract.
Technical Support
- Ticketing System: Technical support is provided exclusively via the ticketing system, unless the client subscribes to custom support packages (WhatsApp, email, site visits). The ticketing account is delivered upon final project approval. SaudiaHost resolves issues according to the client’s active support plan.
- Third-Party Addons: To minimize costs, most custom addons are sourced from third parties. Costs cover licensing, localization, setup, and training—not custom coding. SaudiaHost provides a 3-month warranty/support for external addons, after which support is provided directly by the third-party creator.
- Custom Addons: Clients may request custom-programmed addons built by the SaudiaHost team. In this case, SaudiaHost is fully responsible for updates and support for one year.
- Voided Support: SaudiaHost will refuse technical support if the client removes development copyrights, uses third-party support services, or modifies code/addons/settings without consulting us. Unsupervised modifications void technical support; reverting the site to its functional state may incur a fee.
- Plan Expiry: If the technical support package or hosting is not renewed on time, SaudiaHost reserves the right to delete files 14 days after expiration without liability. If the client wishes to restore the site and a backup is available, restoration fees will apply.
Hosting
- Scope of Support: SaudiaHost provides technical support for server maintenance and monitoring only. We do not support third-party software or systems installed by the client.
- Backups: We maintain internal and external backups; however, data preservation is ultimately the client’s responsibility. SaudiaHost is not liable for partial or total data loss.
- Expired Hosting: Upon expiration, a free copy of the site is provided if requested within 2 days. After 2 days, providing a backup costs 150 SAR. We retain expired accounts for 30 days. Unrenewed accounts are permanently deleted. If a backup happens to survive on a server, restoring it costs 500 SAR.
- Domain Names: Domains are registered using the client’s email, granting them full control and transfer rights. SaudiaHost protects active domains but is not responsible for unrenewed domains. No free domains are included with hosting plans. Changing a primary domain name incurs a one-time fee of 50 SAR.
- Domain Renewal Cycles: Domains can be renewed at the normal price within 25 days of expiration. Afterwards, it enters a redemption period (next 25 days) costing 600 SAR to restore. Following this, the domain enters a deletion phase (25-40 days) and cannot be recovered until it is released to the public again. Transferring domain ownership costs an administrative fee of 30 SAR.
- Server Cancellations: Renewal payments must be settled before the current cycle ends. Server cancellation requests must be submitted before the 25th of the Gregorian month. Non-payment gives SaudiaHost the right to seize server content to cover financial dues without client objection.
- Hosting Usage Constraints: Hosting services are strictly for websites displaying online content. Using hosting space as a general file/data storage repository is prohibited. Unlimited hosting plans cannot be used to store backup files, audio media, or video media. Shared hosting plans do not permit Addon Domains or file upload centers. Each plan hosts exactly one website.
- Refunds: Clients may request a cancellation and refund within 14 days only if SaudiaHost is at fault. The client bears bank transfer fees. Domains and SSL certificates are non-refundable. No refunds are issued after 14 days. Refunds are processed via the original payment method and take 5 to 15 days.
- Service Termination: SaudiaHost reserves the right to terminate contracts without providing reasons, refunding remaining balances and providing a backup (unless the cancellation is due to prohibited activities, in which case no refund or backup is provided, and the site is deleted entirely). Defamation of SaudiaHost or its staff guarantees contract cancellation and service suspension. Account deletion requests waive the right to backups unless a new subscription is purchased.
- Upgrades & Licenses: Upgrading to a new hosting plan incurs a 50 SAR transfer fee. Server plans (Dedicated, VPS, Cloud) do not include cPanel licenses; these must be purchased separately. Exceeding 100 accounts on a licensed server costs an additional 0.75 SAR (0.20 USD) per extra account.
Promotions
- Promotional offers expire at the end of the promotional period and cannot be extended. Offers targeted at specific segments cannot be applied to others.
- Using a promo code voids any other discounts (e.g., Gold/Silver client discounts); two discounts cannot be combined.
- Free hosting is no longer available at SaudiaHost; an alternative plan is provided for clients once their free subscription ends.
- “Resource consumption” may refer to RAM or CPU usage, not just disk space or bandwidth. Please contact support for clarification.
- SaudiaHost reserves the right to amend the Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. Clients are responsible for periodically reviewing the policy on our website.
Prohibited Activities
- Banned Content: It is strictly prohibited to use SaudiaHost services for websites that defame Saudi Arabia, pornographic sites, platforms intended for direct abuse (religious, artistic, or personal), illegal drug sales, weapons/violence, file storage, phishing/theft (credit card or personal info), pirated scripts, or political sites intended for direct abuse rather than objective critique.
- Spam & Abuse: Sending spam emails or using resource-heavy scripts (e.g., automated Retweet/Instagram scripts) is prohibited. Violations lead to immediate suspension without warning. Reinstatement requires a 200 SAR fine, or SaudiaHost may permanently delete the site without refunds.
- Resource Limits: High-resource scripts (like vBulletin) threatening server stability mandate a plan upgrade. Resource allowances dictate: Promo plans get 2%, Beginner 6%, Personal 10%, and Premium 20% of server resources. Exceeding limits triggers warnings; failure to upgrade within 30 days results in suspension and excess usage billing.
- Security Responsibilities: Site administrators are fully responsible for their content, updates, and patching vulnerabilities. SaudiaHost automatically removes suspicious files. Failure to secure a site gives SaudiaHost the right to suspend it until the issue is resolved.
- Hacking: Any attempt to infiltrate SaudiaHost servers or other clients’ sites via your account will result in immediate and permanent account termination, no refunds, and potential legal prosecution.
- Domain Linking: Hosting accounts must always be linked to a domain; accessing the site purely via IP address is prohibited.
- Repeat Offenses: Suspended accounts may be reinstated upon a first offense (with a 200 SAR fine). A second offense results in a permanent ban without warning or backup access.
